Israeli shorts at the Miela Theater

As part of the 23rd edition of the ShorTS International Film Festival

scheduled in Trieste from 1 to 9 July, there will be a focus dedicated to Israeli film production

FOCUS ISRAEL

Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 July 2022

In collaboration with the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television of Tel-Aviv University, the most important film school in Israel which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary, and T-Port, a non-profit online platform aimed at promoting emerging talents and facilitate the distribution of short films within the professional film industry, at the Miela Theater, in Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi, 3, with free admission, 16 short films will be shown, recent and not, which well represent the creative prolificacy of this country so rich in stories.

 The program also includes a tour of the city, which winds through our Museum, the Synagogue, and other significant places in Jewish Trieste. In conclusion, a concert by the The New Original Klezmer Ensemble.

With the patronage of the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Israel, the Jewish Community of Trieste, our Museum and the support of the Italy-Israel Association of Trieste.
