An event organized by the “Carlo and Vera Wagner” Museum of the Jewish Community of Trieste in collaboration with the Department of Humanities – University of Trieste and the Association of Jewish Women of Italy APS – WIZO section of Trieste.

Laura Fontana has been involved in the history of the Holocaust since 1990. She is responsible for Italy of the Mémorial de la Shoah in Paris and of the Memory Education Activity of the Municipality of Rimini, she is the author of numerous essays published in Italian, French and English. She directs study seminars in Italy and Europe for teachers and researchers, is a scientific consultant for various international projects and collaborates with the Fondation Mémoire de la Shoah. You have co-directed with Georges Bensoussan two volumes of the “Revue d ‘histoire de la Shoah” dedicated to Italy entitled L’ Italie et la Shoah (Le fascisme et les Juifs, 2016, Représentations, usages politiques et mémoire, 2017) . www.fontana.laura.com
